More Hair Fair

There’s a good chance that this will be my last Hair Fair blog entry. I’ve visited all four sims now and spent about 3.000 L$ (or more!). I’ve bought so much hair that I probably won’t need new hair for a couple of months. Female hair at least. My male avatar only got four hairs (you can see them in my previous blog entries).

Hair Fair Preview: Shag’s Male Hair

As always, most of the designers only have hair for female avatars for sale, but if you look hard enough, you can find a few great male hairs as well. Shag has released Animal Nitrate (left) and Boys Don’t Cry (middle & right). As you can see Boys Don’t Cry comes in two versions. Color packs cost 250 L$, and fatpacks are 1.000 L$. I’m wearing Animal Nitrate in black and Boys Don’t Cry in umber.

Hair Fair Preview: Rosy Mood & Calico Creations

Hair Fair starts tomorrow. I was lucky enough to get into the Hair Fair Bloggers group as well as receive a few review copies. I’ve decided not to show all the hairstyles that a designer has made for Hair Fair, but only blog my favourites. I also won’t bore you with a lengthy blog post about how great those hairs are (I’m not good at that kind of stuff anyway), but let the pictures speak for themselves.

Here are the first two stores that have caught my attention: Rosy Mood & Calico Creations.

Nomine has released new clothes! “Pam”, “Corpset” and “Sookie” have all been inspired by or named after characters from the tv show True Blood. The top and bottom parts come on multiple layers. I’m not sure about the skirt of Corpset, but I love the corsets! I think “Pam” is one of my favourite corsets ever.

Each outfit costs 300 L$

I’m still experimenting with the new viewer. This time shadows are even working correctly! I’m wearing an outfit I bought at Bare Rose a couple of days ago. It’s amazing, and it cost me less than 200 L$. Can you believe it?

Viewer 2 Experiment!

I was away from SL for a few weeks, uni, work, holidays and all those things. My life’s pretty busy these days. Today I felt like logging in again though and decided to try out Viewer 2 (I’m using Kirsten’s version since I can’t stand the official one).

I really like how beautiful everything looks, but it’s incredibly slow. When I used the old viewer, I constantly had the Graphics Settings at “Ultra”, and SL ran smoothly.

Anyway, I’m wearing an old group gift dress from PixelDolls, hair from Truth (Trinity), and I’m trying out Olive Juice’s 50 Linden Friday poses. My skin is from Bella di Notte (Nadja).
