I’ve decided to go back to my male avatar. He’s a  blonde now though. I’ve discovered a new hair store called Anaphora. While this hair is of course available in black, it doesn’t suit me at all.

I’ve also found a new clothing store – Ducknipple (Do ducks really have nipples?). A lot of their clothes are made for women, but there are some things for men and some unisex clothes as well.

My sneakers are also new. They are from 2Real, and they are truly great. They come with a HUD that allows you to turn every little part a different color! They might replace the PornStars as my new favourite shoes!

Valiant
Bought this fantastic grey cardigan at Valiant, its a superbly crafted piece of virtual tailoring and screams modernist once its paired up with a suitable cool shirt. Worn here with a pair of sharp Armidi trousers and the awesome Unknown Boutique button down shirt the Valiant has a truly authentic retro mod feel to it. The little white motif and the excellent textured work, plus prim sleeve cuffs make this a wonderful casual, yet hinting at smart, dress item well worthy of a place in your virtual wardrobe.

Also from Valiantis this great jacket, with its neat breast pocket detailing, it comes with a neckerchief texture and shirt/sweater too [altho I have worn the Unknown Boutique shirt underneath] which combine to give a rather sharp revivalist modernist look. Damn you, Argrace. Damn you for making hats that look great and are colour change and are easy to fit and have great hair textures and for making me buy all of them. Damn my hat addiction too. Which makes it my fault really and not Argraces.

But I do love this new military hat and it’s quite fortunate that I was looking for something to go with the new military shirts from FIR. I’ve always liked the stuff from FIR and each new release gets better and better. The cords I’m wearing are from there too (and they come on the pants AND underwear layer which is such a plus point). Loads of colours to choose from and I love the little details on the shirt such as the studs on the collars and the epaulettes.

Its that time again, and on the hit list tonight is the wonderous DJ Eden. Half of the modette dynamic duo Eden plays great sets at both Soul Mods and the AAi, while she and Kim have their own clothing range [ModSquad Design]  next door to the Twisted Wheel, go check it out: only a couple of items for blokes but a shed load for you mod girls, very high quality, authentic looking designs that scream retro at you, if only Albion looked good in a skirt.
Things to note, don't mention Eden doing Simon Cowell, Kim was very drunk at the time, and never eat a Kentucky Fried Squirrel in her presence, its not a pretty outcome. Yesterday Jenika Connolly IMed me and asked me if I wanted to review her new mini dresses. Of course I said yes. I love to get to know new designers!

Jenika also told me that she’s made very few sales recently. I hope my blog entry is going to change that! Jenika’s dresses are cute, they are well made, and they aren’t very expensive either!

The School Daze mini dresses come in a multitude of colors. Single colors cost 100 L$, and the fatpack with 23 colors costs 1.500 L$.

The School Daze Babydolls are an older release, but I think they are my favorites! They come with and without a bow. Single colors cost 125 L$, and the fatpack with 23 colors is 1.500 L$.

A few Sundays ago, I sat on my living room sofa, looking at the snow outside, and decided I would once again do something that I love to do way too much recently: absolutely nothing. I have been reading several books at the same time, as I normally do, and on this day, I felt like giving myself some eye candy. So I began to flip channels on the TV, and lo and behold, on Turner Classic Movies, Doctor Zhivago was just starting. A movie that had somehow slipped by me until now. So, for 200 minutes, I was whisked away. And what came out of it, in SL terms, is what you see here. Normally when I do a blog post I pull the outfit together, take the pictures, edit them and then write the post – all in one session. But I seem to have a bit of a backlog going on at the moment. Having too much fun doing the picture side of things I guess and as a result I seem to have a few sets of pictures sitting there ready to go. Which is great except that I have a memory like one of those metal things with holes in it and forget where I bought things from….
